Restoring user files.

Restoring User Files

There are two basic methods for Restoring user files. Some use the built-in "Import" feature, others prefer to find the files and copy them.

 

Alternate 1. (Optional)

 

 

 

 

1.    Double click Dragon Naturally speaking from the desktop.


2.    Select a User

3.    Click Open


4.    Bottom Right corner of your computer. right Click on Red Microphone.

5.    Select File.

6.    Click manage users.

7.    Click Advanced.

8.    Click Import.

9.    Select Destination .

10. Click OK.

11. Click Close.

Alternate 2. (The Best way of restoring users file.)

Insert (CD-rom Flash drive or External Hard drive)

1.    Close all windows go to the main screen (A.K.A Desktop).

2.    Double Click My Computer.

3.    Double Click on drive where files are located (CD-rom Flash drive or External Hard drive).

4.    Right click NaturallySpeaking9 Or NaturallySpeaking10 depending on your version of dragon.

5.    Click Copy.

6.    Close window.

7.    Follow Steps below.

Windows XP

1.    Double Click My Computer.

2.    Double Click (C:) Drive.

3.    Double Click Document and settings.

4.    Double Click All Users.

5.    Double Click Application Data.

6.    Double Nuance.

7.    Click Edit.

8.    Click Paste.

9.    Click yes to replace files.

10. Close window.

Windows Vista

1.    Double Click My Computer.

2.    Double Click (C:) Drive.

3.    Double Click Program Data.

4.    Double Nuance.

11. Click edit.

12. Click Paste.

13. Click copy and replace to replace files.

14. Close window.
