Computer, Required
- CPU Types (aka processor)
- Intel® Core™ i7-640M Processor 2.80 GHz (recommended)
- 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or Intel Core i5 (minimum)
NOTE: Winner is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista 32-bit, and Windows XP. However, you may be required to upgrade your ViaVoice to Dragon 11.5 or later if you choose to migrate to a Windows 7 or Vista platforms.

Mask
- You may use any single or dual-microphone mask. However, you must use an analog-to-digital audio converter (i.e. PureAudio) to interface the mask with PC. You may use a portable audio recording device as a backup device for your secondary microphone in your mask.
Computer, Optional
- Audio (room recording)
- Quality of an audio recording is directly proportional to audio adapter in your PC and the microphone attached to it. Use an external analog-to-digital USB adapter and a high-quality microphone such as ProCAT high-sensitivity microphones for best results.
Accessories, Required
- Winner software key
- USB Sound Input Device – Such as a Telex, VXi, or Andrea
- Either a headset microphone or an appropriate mask.
Accessories, Optional
- Thumb drive
Also known as a flash drive, or a memory stick. These are especially useful if you switch jobs between two fairly new computers.
- USB Mouse
Not everyone likes or can get used to the new touch pads. For those of you who gave up, or don’t even want to try these are handy and come in a variety of sizes.
- Workstation Cabling
For those who wish to connect up to a judge or lawyer via Denoto or some like software, you will need a set of cables. Keep in mind however that depending on circumstances you may need adapters for both ends. USB to Serial adapters will work appropriately.
