How to install the HASP Drivers

First you would want to close out of any running programs. Once you are on your Windows Desktop where all your icons are, such as "My Documents" and "Recycle Bin", you can put the new HASP key into the computer.

If you have not inserted the key before, you should get a "Found New Hardware" window. This is a Windows installation of some basic drivers for your operating system to recognize the USB port is actually there. Let the drivers install.

Next insert the Winner 2000 installation CD. When the main menu comes up click on the button that says "Install Windows 2000 and Windows NT Key Drivers".

You will then be presented with a confirmation window. Click "Yes" to continue.

The next window that comes up will ask you to confirm that all programs have been closed out. Since we did this in the beginning, you can click "Yes" to continue.

A few seconds will pass and a new window will appear. This will display some information about what has been installed and what has not. Take a look at the information and click "Next" to continue.

The following window will ask you what kind of installation you want. Click on the button for the "Typical" install.

Take a look at the information in the following window and click "Next" to continue.

After a few status windows and clicking "OK" on them, the software will let you know when the installation is finished. Click "Finish" to complete the installation process.

The final step in this process is to remove the key from the computer and reinsert it. This should bring up a "Found New Hardware" window and do the final install of the driver.
