ProCAT Introduced the Flash writer at the NCRA convention in San Francisco, CA. This new writer was based on the Stentura keyboard offered by a competitor; however, the revolutionary electronics which out lasted the competitions with its battery life by five time, new LCD display, note search, and one of a kind PC-card took the convention by a storm. ProCAT’s continued innovation and technological leadership was evident by its use of the latest generation of PC-cards which they were later offered in smaller form factors for cameras. In fact, the current compact flash (CF-Card) and secure digital cards (SD-Cards) are based on the same technology that was offered in the Flash writer. Flash proved to be the most reliable writer ever offered.
